Possible wiring scenarios:
- Using a 3-to-2 wire trailer light converter, tail/stop/turn functions can all by handled by the oval bulb. The converters are small enough to tuck behind the trim and are about $10 on Amazon or eTrailer.com.
- Using a “Split-Oval” (half red/half white) the red portion can be wired as tail/stop, and the clear section as backup lights. A round amber blinker can be added below.
- Red Oval as tail/stop with amber turn signal below. Reverse lights wired to auxillary bumper lights, if installed
- If LED bulbs are used (recommended), an LED flasher module may be needed as well.
